One way for us to increase happiness is to frequently and intentionally flood our hearts with thankfulness. Thankfulness for the little things that we may otherwise take for granted. Thankfulness for what we have and what we do not have.
Saying thank you when someone does something for you even when it is their job to do it is a habit that will pay us dividends. Expressing appreciation and gratefulness are excellent tip the scale of happiness in our lives.
Being thankful by proxy for someone when something great happens in their life.
Search for things to be thankful for and remember nothing is too small. Look around you. Look within. Take nothing for granted.
In these days when so much is going on, we can be thankful for a sound mind and stability and time to mull things over. I am thankful for our time.
